The international conference CODATA SciDataCon-2021 is taking place from 18 to 28 October. The event is attended by Alena Rybkina, Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Deputy Director for Development of GC RAS.

Alena Igorevna Rybkina is one of the four co-chairs of the Data-WG. Her report on the work of the Commission on the data of the Group of Terrestrial Observations will take place on October 19 at 19:00 (Moscow time).

The Data-WG convenes to work with the GEO community and external participants to address data policy, data ethics, and data management issues affecting the use of Earth observation.

April 19, 2024. The International Conference "Data Science, Geoinformatics and Systems Analysis in Geosciences" will be held on September 25-27, 2024 in Suzdal (Vladimir Oblast). The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center of RAS and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

April 10, 2024. The RSF supported the project of the GC RAS "Determination of the Spatial and Temporal Structure of the Earth's Magnetic Field in the Vicinity of Geomagnetic Observatories of the Russian Federation with the Use of UAVs".

April 5, 2024. Deputy Director for Science of the GC RAS D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev took part in the V. P. Fyodorov Arctic Seminar.

March 27, 2024. On March 27, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Research Scientist of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS Yevgeny Fattakhov presented his report "Development of Methods for Long-term Series Analysis of Geodeformation Observations in Seismically Active and Oil and Gas Bearing Regions" (based on his PhD thesis).
