June 30, 2025. On June 24, 2025, Ilya Losev, a research scientist at the Laboratory of Geodynamics of the Geophysical Center RAS, successfully defended his PhD thesis at National University of Science and Technology MISIS. The expert commission and dissertation council highly appreciated his research.

The topic of the thesis is "Geodynamic Zoning of the Construction Site of an Underground Research Laboratory Based On a System Analysis of Geological And Geophysical Information" (specialty "Geoecology"). The work can be found at the link.
