SEISMOLOGY

The Electronic Geophysical Year: 2007-2008. The Electronic Geophysical Year, 2007-2008 (eGY) provides an opportunity for the international geoscientific community to focus effort on a 21st Century e-Science approach to issues of data stewardship: open access to data, data preservation, data discovery, data rescue, capacity building, and outreach. The development of Virtual Observatories and Laboratories is a central feature of eGY.

EUROPEAN-MEDITERRANEAN SEISMOLOGICAL CENTRE. Information about earthquakes of the European-Mediterranean region, as well as information on the latest earthquakes in real time, a map of the latest events.

Harvard Centroid Tensor database. (Seismology group of theDepartment of Earth and Planetary Sciencesand the Division of Engineering and Applied Science at Harvard University ). Tensor database, containing information on the strong earthquakes of the world since January 1976 until present with a 6-month time-lag, has interface for searching data. Database also includes quick determinations “Quick CMTs” for events from the end of the main catalogue until present. All 1976 – 2004 database is available in ASCII format.

Institute of Seismology, University of Helsinki, Finland. Contains the list of the latest earthquakes in Northern Europe, Bulletin of earthquakes in Northern Europe and Catalogue of earthquakes in Northern Europe since 1375. The Catalogue of earthquakes in Finland since 1610 is also presented.

International Seismological Centre. Database – Seismological Bulletin of the World Earthquakes (on-line Bulletin) since 1904 until present with a time lag of 2 years. Database includes phase data since 1964, has interface for searching data. “Bibliography on Seismology” for the period from 1956 until 1995 is presented.

National Earthquake Information Centre (NEIC), U.S. Geological Survey.
Information is presented on all world earthquakes with the magnitude more than 2.5, occurred in the last weak (within 168 hours), registered by the U.S. Geological Survey and other networks, supplying to USGS.

National Earthquake Information Centre (NEIC), U.S. Geological Survey.
Information is given on all world earthquakes with the magnitude more than 2.5, occurred in the last month (from 8th until 30th day of the month).

Data Base USGS/NEIC (PDE) 1973 – Present.
Database “Earthquakes Catalogue of the National Earthquake Information Centre, U.S. Geological Survey” contains data on hypocentres of the world earthquakes since 1973 until present, including the latest events, has interface for searching data.
