March 12, 2019. Chief scientist of GC RAS Academician A. D. Gvishiani spoke at the 59th Vernadsky Readings, which was held in the Large Conference Room of the Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry of RAS.

The presentation of A. D. Gvishiani dealt with "System analysis in monitoring natural disasters". The Readings are held every year on the birthday of the great scientist V. I. Vernadsky. Every year, on March 12, prominent scientists, among them C. Jaupard (Institute of Physics of the Earth, France), J. Ludden (British Geological Survey, Great Britain), academicians of RAS L. N. Kogarko and I. V. Chernyshev and others.
