August 7, 2018. Principal researcher of Electronic publications laboratory A. V. Khokhlov and leading engineer of the laboratory of geoinformatics and geomagnetic studies A. A. Grudnev were sent to the Belomorsk Biological Station named after N. A. Pertsov (BBS) of the biological faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Republic of Karelia, Primorskii settlement) for the deployment of a new magnetic station.

The main tasks solved during the trip were: erection of a non-magnetic pavilion, installation and adjustment of a POS-4 magnetometer, laying of signal and power cables to a non-magnetic pavilion, its arrangement and installation of a computer for data collection in a server building of one of the scientific buildings of BBS. A lightning protection system was installed on the signal cable, data transmission to GC RAS and remote access was configured.

April 19, 2024. The International Conference "Data Science, Geoinformatics and Systems Analysis in Geosciences" will be held on September 25-27, 2024 in Suzdal (Vladimir Oblast). The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center of RAS and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

April 10, 2024. The RSF supported the project of the GC RAS "Determination of the Spatial and Temporal Structure of the Earth's Magnetic Field in the Vicinity of Geomagnetic Observatories of the Russian Federation with the Use of UAVs".

April 5, 2024. Deputy Director for Science of the GC RAS D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev took part in the V. P. Fyodorov Arctic Seminar.

March 27, 2024. On March 27, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Research Scientist of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS Yevgeny Fattakhov presented his report "Development of Methods for Long-term Series Analysis of Geodeformation Observations in Seismically Active and Oil and Gas Bearing Regions" (based on his PhD thesis).
