July 11, 2018. Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, V. A. Petrov, head of the Geoinformatics Laboratory of IGEM RAS, visited GC RAS. The purpose of the visit was to participate in a working meeting in which A. Gvishiani, Director of the Geophysical Center, A. Soloviev, Deputy Director for Science, A. Rybkina, Deputy Director for Development, and researcher A. Odintsova participated.

Anastasia Odintsova presented interim results of her thesis on the development of a multicomponent geoinformation product for hydrocarbon fields, equipped with a specially developed system of identifiers for a multiscreen approach to data in assessing the quality of deposits. Within the framework of the meeting, the interim results of the executed works were discussed, as well as the prospects for cooperation in the field of geoinformatics, data visualization and geodynamics.

On March 27, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Research Scientist of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS Yevgeny Fattakhov presented his report "Development of Methods for Long-term Series Analysis of Geodeformation Observations in Seismically Active and Oil and Gas Bearing Regions" (based on his PhD thesis).

March 27, 2024. On March 26, 2024, at a meeting of the Bureau of the Department of Earth Sciences of RAS, Director of the Geophysical Center of RAS Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" 2nd grade.

March 21, 2024. On March 21, 2024, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Geophysical Center of RAS.

March 13, 2024. On March 13, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, PhD Alexey Morozov presented his report "Seismicity of the Western Sector of the Russian Arctic and Adjacent Territories during the Instrumental Observation Period".
